Kenny brings a wealth of expertise in real estate finance, boasting over 20 years of experience in the industry. Before establishing Blue Ocean Property Group, he honed his skills across all three key mortgage origination platforms: mortgage broker, mortgage banker, and retail banking institutions such as JP Morgan Chase, Capital One, and Citibank. Kenny has demonstrated an outstanding track record of success, excelling in self origination and cultivating top-performing origination teams. Throughout his career, he has generated an impressive loan volume surpassing $500 million.
Additionally, he has established himself as a real estate and small to mid-sized business/company investor. Leveraging his extensive expertise, he offers consulting services and implements value-added strategies to enhance the fundamental assets. Moreover, he is adept at manifesting visions and achieving goals, diligently overseeing projects from inception to fruition.
He commits his personal time and resources to giving back to the local community by actively serving on the Board of Directors for two prominent real estate trade organizations in the New York City region. These organizations are:

Recently, he continues to add to his lifetime commitment and dedication to the Asian Community by serving on the Board of Directors of LunarNYC. Khant Lwin is a real estate professional that has been practicing in the industry for over 15 years. Prior to co-founding Blue Ocean Property Group, he has worked in multiple positions within real estate. He has experience in Residential & Commercial Mortgages, Investment Sales and specializes in Distressed Assets (both as a distributor and an investor himself). Early in his career, he worked as a high producing loan officer at a mortgage brokerage and built his way up to managing over 75 originators and staff. He has also served positions within institutional retail banking organizations. Since then, he has moved onto successfully building investor relations and origination teams for multiple real estate companies that distribute distressed real estate assets, nationwide.
He is a proud Myanmar/American citizen and gives back to the community by helping his family throw events for the “National Humanitarian Fundraising for Myanmar” non-profit organization.
Danny Liu

Danny Liu is a Licensed Associate Broker that has over 15 years of property management experience in the New York City area. Early in his career, he has worked as a licensed real estate agent for Remax Realty by assisting international investors purchase property in America. He has moved on to building a long term, successful career within the LeFrak Organization which is a New York City-based, privately-held, family-run company that owns, develops, and manages real estate.
He has overseen by personal origination or management in excess of 3,500 leasing transactions for residential and commercial properties throughout his career. He is also an experienced investor by buying, fixing & flipping or holding & managing distressed assets since 2006.
Richard Wong
Director - Property Management
Richard comes from a strong real estate investment background and has been practicing in the industry for well over eight years. Prior to joining Blue Ocean Property Group, he specialized in negotiating residential and commercial leases, investments and sales as a sales associate in Oxford Property Group. Forging a strong partnership as the head of the Business Development Team at Pioneer Abstract Services, Richard was able to master a strong grasp of the underwriting and compliance that goes with title insurance policies. He works hard and diligently while ensuring the best level of dedication for each and every client that he serves while maintaining the highest level of ethics behind every transaction.
Jonathan Lee
Head of RE Acquisitions
Mr. Lee is a seasoned real estate executive and investor offering two decades of experience managing a multimillion-dollar real estate portfolio across CA, FL, IL, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA,TX, and international markets including Colombia with a mastery in a broad range of real estate and business competencies.
Jonathan’s primary focus is investing throughout the lower-middle and middle markets, acquiring distressed residential and commercial assets for renovation and disposition. Madison Buys Homes is the marketing arm for Property Acquisition & Disposition services.
With over 100+ purchases and property rehabilitation projects in the last five years, Jonathan and his partners have analyzed investment risk and led deals from purchase to close, coordinating financing, insurance, renovation and stakeholder management, reinvesting proceeds and investing in short-term rental properties on Airbnb platform.

Transitioning into real estate, Peter not only became a successful real estate agent but also established his own franchise of Rapid Realty. After attending and graduating from the NYU Stern School of Business with a scholarship, Michael cofounded Epos Development, the NYC award winning real estate development firm that has done over $210M in ground-up projects. In addition, Michael hosted NYC Mayor Eric Adams’ 61st birthday party in 2021, has had the honor of inviting Mayor Bill de Blasio to his home for dinner, and has hosted Andrew Yang as a keynote speaker at the largest real estate event in Queens, New York in 2018.
Among Michael’s business partners and endorsements are 9-figure entrepreneurs John Assaraf, Mark Victor Hansen, and the late Bob Proctor. Overall, nothing makes Michael happier than supporting others in reaching their full potential so they can live the quality life that they deserve.

Michael McGovern

Michael has over 20 years of experience in the Mortgage Industry. He began his career with the legendary investment bank Bear, Stearns & Co. in the back office in 1997. He was quickly promoted and completed the Fixed Income Analyst Program while working in the Mortgage Department. Michael was assigned to the Financial Analytics and Structured Finance Group (F.A.S.T.). The group analyzed commercial and residential mortgages with sole purpose of using their cash flows to group them together and create Bonds. He participated in the structuring and issuance of billions of dollars in CMBS and MBS deals at his time with Bear.
As the mortgage business evolved, Investment Banks began to create their own mortgage divisions and this led to him to be recruited by Lehman Brothers, where he helped create and sell mortgage products directly to mortgage brokers and direct lenders. The goal was to create multiple sources of mortgages to securitize and create Mortgage Backed Bonds, while cutting out the middle men and controlling quality of the mortgages. He quickly became a leading producer and went on to work for Lehman affiliates and other small banks in an effort to develop products, builds sales teams and open new develop new territories. Michael was a Top Producing Sales Manager and estimates to have originated over $1 Billion dollars in commercial and residential mortgages with his extensive list of client mortgage brokers and direct lenders.
These years of experience allow Michael to analyze any lending scenario and structure a mortgage where the borrower and the lender are satisfied. Our client is always our main focus, but if a mortgage is structured in a way that makes it attractive to a private lender, a small portfolio bank, as well as a large international investment bank, our clients have more options. More options create more opportunity for our clients. Michael is a graduate of Iona College with a Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Majoring in Finance.

Alexander Jeesung Cho

Alexander Jeesung Cho comes from entrepreneurial roots. His family started in retail, owning 3 businesses in NJ. He then went into real estate, and that sparked his interest in finance. After graduating from Penn State University with a concentration in business management, Alex pursued a career in finance. As a loan analyst his focus was on commercial origination, loan structuring, and assisting with any residential transactions that were a part of the deal. These years taught him the value of connections, structuring sound loans, and an attention to detail.
Alexander wanted to focus on impacting the residential space, and spent the next few years as a loan officer. Within a few years Alexander was given an opportunity to manage, and quickly took over as the sales manager for the greater NY area. This provided an avenue to explore more areas in NY, which provided valuable experience for his next position as the Loan sales coordinator. As the sales coordinator, Alex excelled in business and market development. Promoting and networking was a focal point, however Alex also helped develop loan products, as well as policies and procedures. The bank quickly expanded their market footprint.
The lending department produced multiple top 25 earners nationally, and the bank was soon sold. Alex saw an opportunity to work with an up-and-coming bank, and became their regional sales manager. There he refined and expanded on his residential lending knowledge, pushed for innovative product lines for the bank, recruited and trained top 25 earners, and redesigned the lending training program.
In his free time, Alex serves on the board for CAREA a real estate organization located in Queens. He also volunteers his time to CMP (Chinese Man Power), CPC (Chinese Planning Council), Financial Beginnings, and Operation Hope. His philanthropic endeavors focus on financial literacy, real estate, finance, and community philanthropy.
